Hi there Linda,
The AGM/Social will be an informal session to discuss the kinds of things we’d like to cover and such as a group this year. please feel free to come along to that as it is a good informal setting to get to know the members and find out what we’re all about. In some ways its a great session for a new person as you will get to know the members a bit better than in a regular session where we may be trying to keep to a schedule.

After that we will be having meetings in February (6th and 20th) although I have not finalised what these sessions will deal with yet.

We run a text/SMS notification service if you wish to have you number added to it (e-mail the number to us) and use this method to confirm sessions and in case of last minute changes.

If I can be of any more help just let me know.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello there, I'm interested in joining a writer's group and would like to come along & meet you all if that's OK. I'm fairly sure that I'm available on the 30th, however would an AGM night be suitable for someone new?

Hi there Rosie,
We just had a meeting on the 16th January 2012 (a session on Horror as listed on our site) and we have a Social/AGM on the 30th january 2012 which will be an informal session to discuss the kinds of things we'd like to cover and such as a group this year. please feel free to come along to that as it is a good informal setting to get to know the members and find out what we're all about.
